Ambient Air Cleaners

Ambient Air Cleaners are designed to collect, dust smoke and other airborne particulates with a 3 stage filtration system consists MERV 7 prefilters, MERV 8 Panel filter and MERV 14 primary multi-pocket bag filters. The T configuration of drawing dirty air in through the sides and exhausting clean air out creates a circular airflow pattern in your shop to quickly and efficiently clean and exchange the air. These ambient air cleaners are constructed using powder coated steel. The modular configuration of the Filterhawk allows units to be combined with multiple modules in a double or quad setup to increase the amount filter media. The air cleaners can be easily installed in your facility with an optional wall mounting bracket or eyebolts to hang the units with chains.

Wet Dust Collectors

• The stainless steel wet dust collector excels at capturing combustible/hazardous dust from your plant air. The blower draws air through DiversiTech’s proprietary water-tree baffle design, creating a cascading water effect that removes particles as small as 3 micron from the airstream. Dust is filtered through contact with water droplets and contained in the bottom of the collector for safe removal at necessary maintenance intervals. Water levels are automatically controlled with valves and sensors, including interlock functions to meet NFPA and OSHA codes.

• In 2015, NFPA updated the 484 standard requiring an interlocked offline vent fan, to prevent build-up of hydrogen gas. Optional HEPA filters also now require a high temperature alert. Diversitech’s CSA/UL certified control panel now supports:

Fume Collectors

• Keeping your worker’s breathing zone safe requires a capture-at-source extractor they will actually use. Designed to be moved and positioned effortlessly, the FRED Jr. excels at removing weld fumes, dusts, and other airborne contaminants as small as 0.5 micron with our MERV 15 rated Nanofiber filter.
• The capture arm’s external articulation is key to easy positioning, as smoke and dust passes through the machine without contacting the swivel and pivot points of the arm. The high suction and capture velocity developed by the FRED Jr. allows operators to capture and filter dust and fumes further away from the hood than competitive models.
